The Heart of the Earth (20:00,2026) is a performance film inspired by the performance series New Animals, which debuted in the Daddy Party exhibition programming 4 times between Sepetmber- December at Metro 54 in Amsterdam. The Heart of the Earth explores composting, decomposition, and transformation through embodied gestures. Licking becomes the mean of touch for fluttering feathers, moving chains, and shaking shiny materials. bubbles and foam are created, caught, and caught up with others. As the New Animals, two dancer-choreographers inhabit bodies that have been split from one another and are attempting to connect and transform through language, touch, mourning. Inspired by Farough Farohkzad letter to her lover Ebrahim Golestan, “I want to make a hole in everything and penetrate it deep. I want to reach the heart of the earth,”
